can approach Reiki by "feeling"
Becoming a channel of Reiki is
extremely simple: it is necessary, though to find a "clear"
person that may transmit the harmonization.
Those who are walking on the path
of energy awareness know that Reiki is "guarded" from
outside influences: it can act within us and through us effectively
and for a long time, whatever the moral integrity or degree of
balance achieved by the person who transmits the harmonization
to us, as long as he or she is a Third Level initiate, knows the
correct initiation procedures and is energetically aware.
The fact that Reiki is transmitted correctly whatever the balance
and intention of the intermediary-Master may be, is not enough
to guard us from "contact" with any disharmony or intent
to manipulate.
Since Reiki is a work of energy
and not of fantasy, less than honest Reiki "teachers"
can find a fertile ground to sink roots in which have very little
to do with universal love, and much more to do with exploitation,
moral subjugation and dangerous psychological bondage. It’s
easy to exploit Reiki in these hideous ways simply because the
method actually works!
Teachers who are absolutely untrained,
superficial, sloppy or, worse still, arrogant gurus filled to
the brim with exaltation and fanaticism are, alas, quite common.
They have their right to exist and to express themselves as they
prefer, but we have the right not to follow them on the path of
our evolution!

to yourself or to others, in letting it go if this is what your

It is therefore fundamental to
me that all who approach Reiki open their heart at 360° and
pay attention to their inmost feelings: only then will they recognize
those who aim at tricking them in the many-faced marked of the
spirit; only then will they recognize a “master” who
really transmits Reiki, who does not only mind his personal power
and business, and works with energy with a spirit of humility,
loyalty and love.

Such feeling however
must not be aimed only towards the outer world. Since Reiki is
a powerful means of transformation, it must be clear that everyone
should feel within themselves when is the right moment to receive
it, and be aware of their real motives in starting off on that
path.
